The Heart of A Revolution: It is as if social justice was built into our bones.
As young people, we have more power and ability than ever to stand up for what we believe in. It's as if social justice is a part of our DNA. In November 2023 students at my school organized a walkout to show support for Palestine. Together, we chanted and marched for a cause that brought us all together. It was an exciting and inspiring experience that highlighted how, in the past few years, young people have more power and influence in our hearts and at our fingertips to see the changes we demand to come to fruition. Many adults in their time didn't protest in high school, but we are because we recognize the issues around us and are willing to take action to create a better future.
